He really went out and tried to live check to check. This is sooooo embarrassing and sad. The gorls are laughing but this definitely touches on a larger issue in the Black community - materialism and living within our means.

But it's understandable - I think a lot of us have an excuse for going CRAZY with money when we get it because a lot of us aren't born into much of it like other races. But I'm thankful I wasn't raised to put SO much into material things. My grandmother would drop coins for private schooling before she dropped coins for Jordans. Long as we were clean, fed and had something in our brains, she was happy.

It all makes sense. He was pissed at the rock because he needed the money or wanted the money, but it was all comfort zone. Just remake the movie a hundred times and collect the cash. We put so much into material things sometimes but you really cannot buy happiness.

Live within your means. A grown man should never have to ask anyone for money - no matter what his profession is. Or at least should take every possible measure to ensure that he doesn't have to do that.
