Right - that's why I don't get why people call her out on using "sons" a lot.

It's basically NYC talk - part of our vocab here. People use "son" all the time.

It kinda became her catch phrase - but she always uses it creatively by finding new puns, etc. And words to wrap around it to fit the song.
