I think this album will be a grower for me (which is a first for me & a Paloma album). Overall I like the second half of the album more sound wise. Highlights so far: Guilty, Crybaby, I?ll be gentle (feat John Legend), Kings and queens, still around, tonight?s not the only night, my body (pretty fresh sound for her). I don?t like the song Sia wrote and a lot of the tracks in the first half don?t sound properly mixed to me, her voice gets drowned out in the choruses. I?m also missing the signature Paloma ballad ? la ?New York?, ?picking up the pieces?, ?just be? & ?only love can hurt like this?. I know she said that this album is about what is going on in the world today (I appreciate her awareness and the motive behind it), but it doesn?t really pull me in like that, the intros seem out of place.

I can?t deny that she is a great artist. I hope the album grows on me.
