No never.. he never even attempted to use that word in the 7 years I've known him. At least not around me. He likes to rap and uses it in the context but never used it as a racial slur. Always  gave me the utmost respect until we had the argument. It came out when he was in a rage probably like Halle experienced with her ex. I think its a trump card that mostly all whites use when they feel like they are being defeated or threatened intellectually by a black person. I hope Serena never has to experience it. Its scary.
