Tbh, I haven?t listened to CAL in a long time
so maybe I?m just a bit biased toward the new material because it?s more fresh in my mind

but i?ll re-listen after her new mess finishes slaying my ears.

CAL is really her best so far sis I promise

I think part of the reason why is the amount of songs

Bluebird I gave a listen recently and some of the songs that I didn't like sound much better to me now. So its not as bad as I thought. But CAL didn't really have to grow on me. Bluebird is def a let down and not even remotely close to her best work as she loves to declare. I think that makes me even more judgmental of it.

the material on ALL of her albums is mediocre at best

such a shame. I LIVED for those impromptu covers of Mariah songs she did on insta, which shows she has the source material for bigger and better things
