As Mary J. Blige, Billboard?s 2017 Women in Music Icon award recipient, celebrates her first quarter-century in the music business, here is a countdown of the legend?s 25 biggest hits on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

The New York native scored her first chart-topper on her very first try with 1992?s ?You Remind Me? from the soundtrack to the film Strictly Business. The track, which debuted at No. 68 on May 2 before spending a lone week at No. 1 that July 25, kickstarted a run that has taken Blige to 23 top 10 hits, including six leaders. Among the half-dozen chart toppers is "Be Without You," which ranked as the No. 1 song of all-time on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart earlier this year.

Before Blige accepts her honor at Thursday's Women in Music event, streaming live via Twitter starting at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT, let's revisit many of the dance-friendly jams and soulful ballads that have helped her become of the most celebrated voices in the R&B canon.
