I would not look down on a Soul Train. IMO the best Award within the genre you can aspire.

Miranda

Soul Train gives me legendary and iconic. Between Brandy, R. Kelly, Toni, so many legends have been hailed and celebrated via the Soul Trains. To be among them is an honor.

But whatev' !

If this was Ghan getting snubbed by Bey Rih and Jans yawl'd be PISS

cry me a damn river

The list ain't changing

But that don't make it right

!!!
Janelle does not deserve a nomination
when all the other girls released albums recently

Janelle released an EP THIS year, just like all the other acts released something this year, except Bey.

no WONDALAND released an EP
and Bey did drop an EP with the re-release of her album

Janelle is a part of Wondaland. her face is perched on the cover. Yoga was her single. And all was in 2015.

When did Bey's mess come out? This year?

Well if Janelle is a prt of WONDALAND then THEY should get a nod as a GROUP

Bey's EP was released in Nov which is in the last 12 months

Young plea, you're the same one who clowns BET but soul train matters? It's like a third tier award show that never mattered. Let's just call it how we see it - you see this as Mon and Tamar's only chance at winning awards. Lolz

and if Ghan was nominated off the EP we're waiting for no one would say shit

Miranda

wait seriously. A Soul Train is nothing to sneeze at. What bigger R&B award is there? This is not some Yahoo Album of the Month mess. This is a real award with a huge history and legendary acts attached.

Is that a bad thing? They're R&B and they should get respected at a show geared towards their Genre.

That alone makes the Soul Trains legendary. Sis, iono, if it is ok to label it some third tier mess...

The Sou' Awards are kinda IT tbh.
