if I'm being real Nicki's definitely used her somewhat racial ambiguousness to her advantage.
and even mentions being "mixed" with things on some songs.
not to mention me having to check her for those comments about n***y hair in Stupid Hos.

So when she gives these arguments I kinda zone out, just a bit. And turn around in my chair like TS Madison sbdbsdbdsbdbbb

Love kwee though. I just want her to stand somewhere and look pretty. Leave this mess to Erykah Badu or something

Some of these White rappers are actually good though.

I totally forgot G Eazy was the guy from Britney's "Make Me". I loved his verse on that.

If they're good at rapping let them get their chance. I don't see an issue. Long as they don't get crazy and start using words they have no business touching, etc.
I think y'all are missing her point, this is exactly what happened to all of our other genres we started. They eventually got taken over and became a predominantly "white" genre. Half of that top 10 is filled with white rappers.
Well , Eminem was given his first break from a Black man in a position of power.

And that was the first time we really saw a blue eyed, paled skin boy infiltrate hip-hop in such a way.

Guess what that told other labels? That there was coin to be made using that formula.

Lol at you typing that like the beastie boys never happened. And didn?t have a diamond album in the 80s.

And it goes to show that you can be this , or that, or belittle other people of color if it makes you feel better for the moment...

But at the end of the day, we're all still in a WHITE country.

White governed, White owned and operated. :plzstop: No shade.

We be so far up our own ass sometimes as POC that we develop a sense of entitlement IMO.

So when that reality hits, it hits a bit too hard. When our names aren't called for AOTY, or an Emmy honor, it's shock! Outrage!

But should it be a huge shock? White people run the show. Literally.

Perhaps the more people take all of this into account, the more we'll think of ways to help one another as POC instead of finding new and exciting ways to compete with and put one another down.

She used whites the same exact way they used black people and their culture. Why are yall mad at her? At some point all the mainstream gurs and guys played the game to get what they wanted out of it. It is what it is.

Drezzy and the rest of the black female rappers probably are posted pissed at Cardi's success because let's be honest she's trash but is getting recognized because she's light and not 100% black.
