Ester
wrote the bulk of the song WITHOUT Rihanna present. That's why it's just Ester on the demo. Duh

Doesn't matter.
Yes, it does. She didn't write the catchy part of the song, she doesn't matter.

Still ain't got writing credits on her BIGGEST songs. You can back the fuck up now lol

Not sure why you're so hellbent on making some irrelevant point about Rih's writing prowess that everybody knows she doesn't have

Especially after she rejected that wack ass song you tried to submit to her

yummy

Yup. She cowrote a few songs on Rated R, tbh. She also cowrote Hard.

This was never for Rihanna. :dead:

The song was recorded before the Chris Brown/Rihanna situation, but one can?t help but make the connection.

Mya said in an interview with Honey Magazine, that at first she didn?t believe the Chris Brown story, ?I assumed it was another outrageous, untrue rumor from an illegitimate gossip site.? It wasn?t until she was playing tracks of her upcoming album for friends that she realized the song?s impact.

Blackout was inspired by two friends who were abused by their boyfriends.

Mya wouldn?t give Rihanna any advice, saying that she wasn?t in any ?position to give proper advice unless I?ve been given all facts from the direct source.? She also stressed that she believes abusers can change, ?I think anyone can change if they truly want to. It?s internal first. Regarding violent partners, it helps if a strong support system is in place to monitor and see the process through. ?

Were you present in the studio? How do you know exactly what she wrote?  :dead:

Rude Boy is one of her biggest hits though. That's just it. Your initial OP, Does your fave have writing credits on their signature songs/biggest hits? and Rihanna does not on just one but three songs (Rude Boy, The Monster and Work). She also have writing credits on Hard, a Top 10 and Break It Off, another Top 10.

yummy
