I don?t know I guess a lot of Christians always blame God for things not happening. A Grammy is not an award for being a good wife. You should be grateful you have such a good relationship. I do believe there is a divine force but we are also reponsible ourselves. We have to somehow create our own happiness..this might not be being the next Bey because a lot of artists are struggling and you have to stand out to make it in the music industry

This. Chick stays whining like she's the only struggling artist in the world.

While she is without a doubt a flop and will never be anything but, let's get that straight, there are literally millions of aspiring singers out there chasing the same dream as hers, who will never come as close as be able to say they had multiple record deals, toured wih Beyonce, Usher, R Kelly, Xscape, did multiple video shoots, and... well yeah that's about all. But still, that's more than most aspiring artist will ever achieve, and these are artists who actually have their own identity. I'll save my pity for them.

What it all comes down to is she's heard that "Beyonce's twin" hype one too many times and has always assumed that Bee's level of fsme was a given for her. Unfortunatly that kind of lighting almost never strikes in the same place twice. She'll be 31 years old in a few months, and much like those broke 30+ year old rappers who still be tryna push a mixtape, she needs ta get up off instagram crying, gas up the Maz' and go fill out some damn applications for a real job.

I think that some people really take in this sense of entitlement when it comes to life..so much so that they begin to get out of touch with the reality of situations. Reality is that she is past 30 now still trying to do doo wop pop pop girl groups.

It's one thing to just shut up and hustle relentlessly in the face of all odds (see: Dawn Richards) but it's another to victimize yourself and hand out a plate asking for pity points.

I agree that she doesn't really seem to be doing this out of the love of music, she wants to establish a steady and lucrative career. But music ain't really the basket to put all of your eggs in. I don't think she's taken time to build other skills for herself outside of music and now it may seem as if it's the be all and say all.

It's a really shitty spot to be in if all you know how to do is sing..as a grown 30+ year old woman. And it isn't popping off.

If that's the case, my heart really goes out to her. But she needs to toughen up and make some decisions.

If we're being fair and real...it takes funding to do certain things.

And her mother created a gofundme just so she could get new prescription contacts.

So her hands are kinda tied there from what I've seen.

And she's a singer, so it's only so much spontaneous edgy stuff she could do. I think if she were a rapper it could be easier for her to make more of a buzz on a nonexistent budget. But singers are glamorous. She needs her glam squad, mixing has to be on point with the vocals, etc. etc.

It won't take a million dollars - Dawn throws her tea together on a budget - but it'll definitely cost more than a pair of prescription contacts.

She's trying to get into R&B - a genre that is already suffering for points.

Well when you put it like that...

I do think sis tries to portray the same Driven! Work Ethic! Hard Workah! image that her idol is known for, but in actuality she's lazy af. I remember she stayed frontin on the 'Gram with her gym chronicles like she was some big fitness buff and sh*t, but on Chasing Destiny her big ass almost died just from jogging. 

Tyrese also called her out on being more interested in parties and clubs rather than being in the studio or rehearsing when her made that sublimnal video on Facebook about severing all ties with her.

Anyways has there ever been a time where a completely unknown female singer debuted at 30+ years old and went on to be this huge pop star? I can't think of anyone. It's time to give it up Kris sis.
