Im actually really happy tbh. I feel like we got to a point where the black man was extremely coddled and protected in the black community in order to combat the negativity on the outside and as a black man I get that but I feel like the futher "equal" we got the further egos got inflated.

It got to a point where we didn't hold them accountable and the minute other types of black Americans that deviated from the Straight Black Male narrative gained some support it was met with negativity and hate but no one held them accountable out of fear because we see how the outside world treats black men.
