Well, Whoopi is the most awarded of the ?black comedians? and she pretty much agreed that this is true.

The people who try to change these kinds of systems always receive backlash. But when this becomes a part of history, people will then respect what Monique is trying to do.

I just hate that ?black? people can get behind all the white feminist movements but when it comes to pushing their own movements forward, they criticize.
yeah once she explained it, I totally understood what she meant.

Katt Williams was offered 4 million dollars for his Netflix special btw.

I don't think she doesn't have a point, etc.
Totally think she has grounds for negotiation.

It's just the way she's handling it right now. Slow down a bit.
This boycott isn't really going to pop off. People look to services like Netflix to replace huge cable bills they were once paying before. They're not going without TV just because you're only getting 500k.

And as Yum pointed out, there are other Black people who are on Netflix so asking for a boycott is kind of selfish.
"If I can't get what I want, no one will get anything".

Dial it back a bit.

I'm crying at her still going on.

Bitch it doesn't matter what receipts you pull out. You're difficult to work with.  She's just proving everybody's point.

Check your messages Mo. Where were you on the police killings of black men, woman and children? Where was your voice on the Freddy Gray matter? Do you know who he is? I'm so disappointed in black folks like you. Now you want the black community to stand up for you? This is some real coon shit on your part.

shake the table queens. Most decorated comedian self

Of course she has a point and she truly deserves more, but it's hard to rally behind someone who only gives a damn about pay inequity because Netflix ain't giving HER 7 figures.

Mo doesn't give a damn about the broader issue in society and that's that.

when it doesn't make complete sense, it simply doesn't. im not just gonna agree because my girl is black

black people have, and will continue to get behind plenty of movements and make a significant impact. She should have thought about
her approach and strategy a little longer so she could have been a part of that trend.
