Monique was not the front runner in Almost Christmas, it was an ensemble cast. If we were talking Phat Girlz then I could see her point but Almost Christmas was an ensemble production.

IMO, the star was Gabrielle Union. But, I said that because Monique's name wasnt the one to bring in 40 million, much like Tiffany's wasnt the one to rake in the amount they made on Girl's Trip.

Gabrielle was the lead actress too imo (if there woulda been one).

I agree. Monique had more of a supporting role in the film.  I wish her well, but she is doing a disservice to herself.
