It all began with a critique of a new movement called #MuteRKelly whose sole purpose is to try and get the R&B singer banned from the music industry due to his many alleged sexual offenses.
?It?s not going to work,? Williams said of the #MuteRKelly movement. ?Black people aren?t really good at protesting?not since the King march. It?s not going to work.? ?but wait, there?s more! Wendy Williams went on to use R. Kelly?s alleged marriage to a 15-year old #Aaliyah and the women who are allegedly being held prisoner in his home as an example of why she believes that their movement is baseless.
?The #MeToo movement hasn?t affected R. Kelly, because R. Kelly, he wasn?t a #MeToo,? Williams continued.

?The multiple allegations of R. Kelly holding women in his own home. Where are their parents? This is a whole different thing, it has nothing to do with #MeToo,? Williams added. ?R. Kelly is just a very very sick man.?
At the end of her segment, Wendy explained that she?s sick of the #MeToo movement, because it?s causing her to believe that all men are not innocent which is not true.
