Discussion: Should we separate the life and work of artists?

If an artist is proven to be a racist, rapist, homophobe, killer etc, do you boycott their work?

I would never support the art of such a piece of shit human.
I will keep consuming their past work/ classics, but won't support any future projects/ products.
Nothing changes for me. I don't care about an artists personal life. If I'm a fan of their art, that's what it is.
I will keep supporting their art and indulge in stan wars, denying or even glorifying the artists horrible actions.

It depends on what the artist has done/said tho. If you?re molesting underaged girls and constantly using racial slurs, I can?t separate that and support you.

Like with Michael Jackson. I CANNOT listen to a pedophile. Like...anytime I hear a song by him it grosses me out.

There are just levels to shit that i can and cannot separate.
