You go up for JT, Mel?
Oh.

Yes I do.
he's my favorite male artist aside from Chris.

I've loved him since I was a KID watching him on The Mickey Mouse Club

Ok.

Are you shading me?

No.
:dead:
I asked a question, and you answered.  Lol.

I sense a bit of shade,
but ok

but not to bring up his age, but I  will because it very well could've played a factor
he was a 21 year old kid when that happened, sure anyone could understand the pressure he was on

He was 23...
But he was an adult, nevertheless...

Yes he was an adult, but a very young one.
and that pressure could be a lot to handle...

who knows, maybe he did wanna speak out but was advised not to by his people
in fear that his career would be over

Age, sex, and race were all important factors. I didn't expect him to take blame at that point since he was a new artist and hadn't even released his second album at the time.

What's annoying today, in 2018, is that he claims to be such an artist with integrity but still can't fully acknowledge his privilege. Would it have killed him to say, "I was wrong. I apologize to Janet and the NFL should also apologize to her as well."

Justin didn?t do the hologram
no one is talking about that anymore, they just think it was a subpar show
and him just showing the video was nice or whatever

how many times do i have to say it?
they weren't gonna like it regardless

he's the press' negative target and nothing he does will be praised
n ?target!?  Everyone?s picking on rich, famous, award winning Justin. How sad

That's the media for ya!
one minute they love you and the next they dont

:letsmessfag:
so can we trust this thread where the media is reporting that his ratings were higher than the game?
Or...

at least he admits he could've done something

yall making kit out for him to be some monster who didn't care
You're missing the point. I understand why he reacted the way he did. Doesn't make it right and he agrees. What's more annoying today than 2004/2006 is the lack of public accountability on his part and the NFL's.
Extremely annoying. Shoulda, woulda, coulda. Its just a little too late. And he still doesn't own up to shit. The way he speaks too, his body language, no eye contact, even in this interview, the way he's trying to be as vague as possible and selective with his words; its not genuine. Same thing with this Prince tribute. Had nothing to say when he died but wanna say something 2 years later. He's always late to the table and for that reason, he'll never get a seat.

They cant lie about the numbers..
says who?

Integrity.
so the media has integrity even though they?re unfairly targeting Justin?

The media isn't Nielsen.
stop being dumb before i cut ths convo short

when i say media, im referring news, entertainment media
not official sources like Nielsen
you made this thread based on a tweet, not a link to the Nielsen website. Do you know what you?re talking about? :dead:
The news is reporting the Neilsen ratings but if they were targeting Justin, why would they publish this slightly positive statistic?
You?re not making any sense so cut it short if you wanna

Well he addressed it there
I don't think he should have to keep addressing it or make any public apology
the only person that needs that is Janet
Yes and no. He's said they've spoken privately, which must've been after 2006, but the backlash she received was very public and so were his actions.

Watching ?The real? and the audience booed when they brought up Justin?s performance dddfffff

He's extremely disingenuous.

And like I've said before, people aren't bashing his performance or the album because it's Justin: they simply didn't use. The album sucks and the show was okay, move on. All of our favs have lows..
