Make your demands then.

It's not just for acting either.

Look @ 'fas.

Only thing I could wonder as I watched this mess and yawned is...can you imagine what 'fas would do with this fucking budget? :damselindistress:

This bitch had fucking armageddon surrounding her and still managed to bore the hell out of me.

Her confidence >>
!!!

I hate to even bring up Monique in the same sentences as Viola (not even to be shady but it?d be degrading to Viola) but if Monique had at least taken 1/10th of this approach she?d be in a much better place..

And i hate terms like "you're the BLACK of this white version..."

This is cute, but what change does this bring? I mean really what is Viola Davis doing but falling on deaf ears. Those white women in the audience will give a cute , wow.. but they will not continue the dialogue beyond that because then they will have to carry the guilt. They know that they do not support black projects, and that is in part why black women cannot demand more money. Even in music, for black women to be very successful they have to be a unicorn. They have to possess talent and beautiful like never before seen.

While Monique's approach may be a bit over the top. I think Viola Davis's is a beat weak and is not doing anything for her cause. I do not think she is a black Meryl Streep because she has not been given the opportunities as Meryl. I mean she was in a Tyler Perry Movie less than 10 years ago.

I think a big women in film like Viola need to call out the white women who are asking for pay equality. Ask them how can they expect men to support their cause when they do not support the plight of their fellow female actors of color in their pay inequality in comparison to them.
