I've had bad experiences all across the board.

I don't see how that can turn you off to an entire group of people.

Is it really because of the "bad experiences" or is it just an excuse to cover up for the fact that you don't really use your own people?

I'm not disregarding his experience. The stuff we go through as kids definitely shapes who we are as adults. I just think sometimes it's easy for Blacks to be judged collectively while Whites get to be individuals. I'm sure he's had negative experiences with White people at some point in his life, especially being from Georgia, but I could be wrong.

It just seems like a convenient excuse to say "I'm not into Black girls/guys".

The problem is that there are assumptions being made.

You've just HAD to have a White person make fun of your Blackness too! I know it! They ALL did it to you, so why you pickin White people?

No, that wasn't my cousin's experience. It was his OWN people doing it. Funny, huh? LOL!!!

Of course there are instances of White people doing that mess, it almost goes without saying. But if someone shares their experience, take it as what they've shared. Don't assume that they're masking their preference with some fairytale that makes them feel better.

May is right tbh. Blacks love to use it as an excuse.

I've seen Black people say some very nasty things about their own kind.

Everywhere. Online, outside...it exists. I have no choice to believe anyone who shares this sort of story.

And that's all I'll say.

I said I could be wrong. I don't know your cousin to speak on his experience.

If that's how he feels then so be it, but to make assumptions about an entire group of people based off the actions of a few isn't logically sound.

Were ALL Black women in his life terrible to him growing up, or did he choose to only focus on the negative experiences?

It's not a valid reason, but that's just my opinionata.

I hope he & his queen have a happy life together tho.

We have to start treating people as individuals rwsponsible for their own actions
Ppul are quick to say omg all black guys this or that but feel a different way if tge white guy does the same so its characterized differently

I say if someone freely dates whites black asian  i belive tjem qhen they say they are settling with someone fromna different race cause its was about the connection not the race

Lol this african guy i met a couple weeks back was telling me how he hates that i wear a hoodieand to get rid of it and how he loves white ppul and even married a white woman who took everything in divorce but he still likes white ppul he wanted to hang out and he kissed me smh

And on the other side of that
This black guy was really proud that all his 4 baby mamas were darkskin and his ex wife was darkskin as well hes like i like em dark
