One of my cousins from Georgia just married a White woman.
He's as "Black" as you could imagine - his features, his hair, his skin....very nice looking young man.
but he never had good experiences with Black girls. They made fun of the size of his lips and his skin color.
Some self hating bitches who probably didn't hold a candle to him.
So he ended up dating nothing but White women. And married one.
And he's a DAMN good man. Nurse and all, great job, great head on his shoulders.
Someone wanted him. And it wasn't Tolequa.
So when I see couples like this I always think of him. You don't know the backstory.
I'd be really upset if someone were to label him a self hater without even knowing him.
So I guess that's why this triggered me a bit.
You just never know what it is.
Now if my cuz ever got on social media talking about "White Girlz Only" I'd definitely drag him across those farms of Macon. Cuz he'd be doing the same thing to OTHERS that was done to him. Don't spread that around.
But he doesn't do that. He deals with the scars and insecurity he has and works through it, and embraces those who have embraced him.
Sorry for the essay but I had to speak up.
I'm so happy for them.
