Um pretty sure they are trying to piggy back off Black Panther success. That's what any smart company would do, all of it is their property why not maximize profits. The smart thing to do.... and that's most likely just ONE of the reasons. Fox moved up Deadpool to May 16th and the week after that Disney is dropping another one of the movies( Stars Wars solo movie).

So why not push it up to give it more breathing room to gain more money before the competition comes in and cuts the audience in half.

Atm no. Please Don't come into the MCU franchise spewing y'all Bullshit, that wasn't present before BP. You just hoped on the fucking ride, sit the fuck back and enjoy or get the fuck off.

Thanos is going to wipe half of them out(the main cast) and this is where the new cast gets passed the torch to take over. BP, Dr Strange and Capatain Marvel is rumored to be the next big 3 (Iron man, Captain America And Thor) going foward for phases 4-6.
