It's a strong possibility that it will be, because although it is a superhero/action movie, it is a groundbreaking one, and there are a lot of good storytelling and drama elements in the film.

Yes superhero movies are recognized but it's just not for acting.  Nothing will be different with this one

Realistically, I could see a Best Picture nomination, but the Oscars love a dramatic mess out, so it won't win.

I don't see it for any of the major acting categories.

It'll win for Art Direction, Set Design, Makeup or some other BS categories.
