It'll be interesting to see where Rih's career goes from here. It's funny how her team set her up to be an artist who needed to stay hot and trendy by constantly pumping out radio candy material to keep people invested. As soon as they slightly deviated from that path she started to struggle. It started with the extended break and her coming back trying to transition into a more mature artist. All that cranking out #1s back to back is pretty much done. Touring power dwindled, and although she's never been an Adele or Taylor album selling artist Anti still struggled the most saleswise out of all her albums.
You have to be careful with how you present yourself as an artist because when you try to grow and mature it can backfire on you. Look at what happened to Gaga & Katy.
That's why I'm glad Bey set her career up the way she did. She had a plan outside of trying to constantly please radio.
Rih seems to be transitioning into a mogul so she'll probably take a step back from tossing out albums anyway.
