Every church and pastor isn?t like this, though. Thankfully the churches I?ve gone to consistently in the past, and even right now, are not only very diverse, but loving and non judgemental for the most part.

Every now and then I?ll hear something that makes me wince a bit but it?s whatever. I don?t go to church for everyone else and i don?t pay much attention to the obvious hypocrisy anymore, because that?s everywhere you go at this point. I?d never leave the house if i let that stop me from doing what i enjoy or need personally for my own spirit

IDK how it is there, but it used to be a don't ask don't tell type mess here. Like the girls would even defend Ms Jay and say he wasn't gay and he'd just live his life obvious but everyone would ignore it.

I know it happens for certain, and i get it. All it takes is one traumatic experience and i probably wouldn?t feel too good about the idea of church either. Especially if that trauma came about during my childhood.

And when i do hear something anti gay every blue moon, I?m definitely not sitting there clapping. I?m there for the message but not necessarily every single one ssssss my ears pick n choose

I used to try my hardest to stray away from the word ?religious? itself, because i hated how it sounds and i know how hypocritical extremists and fanatics are, but i don?t mind so much now.

I?m definitely more into the spiritual discussions than anything else. Numerology,  angel numbers and things like that, but that all coincides with God for me. It just so happens that when it does come to religions, i connect more with Christianity

But i grew up in a household with a Muslim father and a Black Christian mother.    Imagine the mess
