I just tweeted about this, it was always a song I liked, but never agreed when people would be all "4 Page! OOF!"
But I watched the video recently and had a fuckin epiphany. The video, what an avant garde take on a simple love song. A love letter serving as a catalyst for the saving of this guys LIFE. The salvation of his soul.
Wearing black, symbolizing power, elegance, and mystery, she stalks and observes her subject from the bushes. He has on a collar and seems to have escaped something as we also see the guy who recaptures him in the scene. She looks completely intrigued, dipped down in the shadows.

Wearing brown, symbolizing reliability, security, and healing, she infiltrates the redemption camp where he is being held. This guy had committed some wrong-doing and has some price to pay. Brown also represents neutrality, as she's the guise of "the entertainment" and not his savior. A "last meal" type thing. She dances seductively, pelvic thrusts and "they say that you don't even notice me" followed by a belly dance. He gyrates in the cage as well, theres mutual interest.

She's sending a nonverbal message and during the bridge she sends her letter, which magically appears in his cage. It introduces her and probably contains some reassuring. The captor can be seen watching the entertainment as well.

In the morning a fight-to-the death scene ensues, which clearly looks one-sided. He's getting his as kicked and here comes Allahyah through a blinding light, wearing all silver representing female energy, truth, strength, and a literal light at the end of the tunnel.

She becomes his protection as not only does the color silver reflect all energies away from it, but theres a damn ring of fire around them as they bond through a dance. He kisses the Queen's hand in gratitude.
