yummy

Hip hop has kind of always been multi dimensional. From the boom bap NYC mess to Dr. Dre and the west coast sound to the original trap sound that came out of Houston, Slum Village and the backpackers etc;

These new niggas all look like a bunch of drugged up minions mumbling over some tired ass 808 drum.

Yea the sound itself has always been multi dimensional IMO, and ever changing and evolving but now what Hip hop LOOKS like is the thing that?s really grinding the old heads gears sssssd

There is no this or that, in terms of having to choose where you?ll be placed in the hip hop world and how you?ll present yourself image wise. These new guys can literally do whatever tf they want, and most of them truly don?t care about the backlash or any of that

Purses, limp wrists and sashays to boot dhhdhbdf

I think the entire image and culture of hip-hop has been the same for many years. People giving the same mess over different beats. Yeah the sounds have advanced but there are many basics of the culture that have remained the same - regardless of whether we're talking east or west coast.

A lot of the older school rappers are up in arms about what hip-hop is becoming.

I get it, but I don't really agree with the sentiment that any of these new rappers are bringing something new to the genre.

Even with all the dresses and "care free" attitudes, your average hip hop artist is still as sexist and ignorant as ever. That hasn't changed and probably never will.
