It just shows that this ?secure the bag? by any means necessary phenomenon is a dangerous idea for anyone to perpetuate, especially a black person from a working poor family whose efc for his education was 0$ apparently. It?s not so much that people are saying he did this on his own. It?s possible he had close ties with people in the a building who possibly gave him access or approved things for him that shouldn?t have been done.
For example, with meal plans at Howard, dining dollars specifically, if you don?t use up the full value of your plan over a semester period, rather than refunding the money back to students, the money just vanishes. That makes ZERO sense to me. I?d like to see where that money is going. Bottom line, misappropriation of funds isn?t really too farfetched at Howard and other schools apparently. I can?t sympathize with him if his involvement resulted in others losing their aid, housing, or place at the university over the past several years.
