Not I BE ON THE HOTLINE

LIKE EVERYDAY

being dark xcvvccfggggvvccccvvgvvc;

I seec why Vonc is letting you sink in here, hun
those lyrics are not dark

But the production is
U don?t know shit about music
So bask in me actually entertaining u

The production on radio is very dark

Has to be literal for some girls.

Different artist, but to put it into perspective, almost all of Li's music is that way. Are You That Somebody has dark frequencies regardless of the lyrics.

Brandy's Wildest Dreams is another example.
it doesn't have to be literal for me

You can't call a song DARK just because the production is dark. The lyrical content and vocal delivery have to match, like how it does with pretty much any Aaliyah song. Radio is a POP song by lyrical design, just like most of the records on IASF. Please sit down with this

Pop songs can be dark bby

As far as the lyrics, whenever I envisioned "Radio", I saw her in the room with her radio on the window pane and the windows blacked out, starry, night time. Maybe even some lightning. I mean she did say "under the moonlight"

you're basing all this on how YOU interpret the song.  And it's little comical.

Anyone that knows about the move ?metropolis?
Knows where a lot of shit during that time was referenced from
Including Beyonc??s Sasha era :dead:

The sweet dreams video is literally pulled from that movie in terms of styling and conceptually :omf:

I?m arguing fucking facts.. im the fool here

If you?re gonna reference Metropolis, she literally did that for her BET Awards performance of ?Get Me Bodied?.

And if we?re gonna talk about dark vibrations and darker production chords, let?s not act like ?Kitty Kat, ?Upgrade U? and ?Ring The Alarm? aren?t on the album.  Even ?Freakum Dress? has a darker production vibe.

Y?all ain?t convincing nobody IASF was a dark album.

The notes in the "oh oh oh oh OHHHs" of Radio are that of a suspense string sequence. Similar to the beginning of "Forgot About Dre" That's dark.

and like I mentioned the end, ur lying if that's not a dark synth
let's drag glock

We can do it together  :flamebroiled:

d. i treat my nie's and neph's equally

but do you agree about Go Girl? Those lyrics aren't dark but the whole feel of it is def rooted in satan

I always got a haunting, eerie kinda vibe from this tbh. It was definitely her trying to be dark
