The 2018 Billboard Music Awards line-up is dipped in all sorts of diversity.

Lending credence to this is the double helping of iconic divadom that has been announced as the show?s newest additions.

For, both En Vogue and Salt-N-Pepa will be hitting the stage at the May 20th extravaganza.

Details below?

The ladies of Salt N Pepa will perform in honor of the 30th anniversary of them becoming the first female rappers to crack the Top 20 on Billboard Hot 100.

Bursting onto the hip-hop scene in 1987, they rocked the charts with their debut Billboard  hit ?My Mike Sounds Nice,? and then notched their first crossover pop smash with ?Push It? a year later.

En Vogue will join the trio for what is being billed as a ?one of a kind special performance.? And given that both groups will form the focus of a new reality series, the synchronisation makes sense.

Speaking on the showing, Salt-N-Pepa said:

?Thirty years later, we?re still Pushing It all over the world and we?re still loved and celebrated by fans we grew up with as well as new fans. Looking back at all the barriers we?ve broken as women in this very male dominated genre of music, being the first two female rappers to break the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 is right up there as one of the best moments of our amazing career. We are blessed.?

The groups join previously announced performers Janet Jackson (who is receiving the Icon Award), Ariana Grande Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera & Demi Lovato, Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes and more.

This year?s BBMAs air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena May 20th at 8PM ET / 5 PM PT on NBC.
