Brandy records a lot of music that she doesn?t like. Why? Because her labels have paid for the sessions and the music. She has never been in control of what songs make the album. Hell, Kanye even sneaked a version of WUWB on the album that wasn?t her favorite version. I think her being honest about not liking some of her music is actually authentic in a way. She?s been very careful not to outright say which songs she doesn?t like and I think that?s because she doesn?t want to hurt the fans? perceptions of some of their favorites.

Her first album was multi platinum, her second album sold 14 million, her third album was platinum. Her being disappointed in the sales after is understandable. She even recorded a song about how she was feeling...Should I Go.

It?s very easy for us to say she?s inconsistent when we only really get to see her interview and interact every 4 to 6 years. People change in that amount of time. Hell, I?m sure half of y?all were in high school when the last album came out and have finished college already.

Brandy?s problem is she interacts with her fans, learns their names, calls them on the phone. They don?t know how to just be fans.

I think she needs to just release her album, do a tour and log off social media until it?s time for the next project. That way, none of these fans will feel the need to try to ?destroy? her.
