They?re creating songs from scratch which seems like she?s really inspired and involved in the process this time. She may even end up with co-producer credit.

When we play A&R, there?s no opportunity to be pleased with the element of surprise because we?ve already mapped out the sound and visuals in our heads.

I don't see anything wrong with playing A&R. I think it's fun to see what everyone "thinks" brandy is going to do or what they should do. You never know she may read it or silent may read it and take it back to her if it's good enough
