And Total never really has a huge crossover hit until.their sophomore album with Trippin' (#7) until then their biggest hit was Kissin' You (#12).

I wish they would stop lying and pretending they were bigger than they really were.

Out of all the 90s girlgroups they were at the bottom of the list. Even below brownstone.

Can?t think of the 90s without thinking of 702. Really?  :kii:

When I think of 90?s I think of like TLC...DC...Spice Girls...SWV...En Vogue etc

702 don?t belong sorry

You Don't Know great follow-up single. It just didn't ignite on the charts.

🦚

Total had a huge classic with LL

It trumps anything little Vegas zip code has ever done.

And Irish was so freaking gorgeous back in the day. Sis has seen some hard times huh?

!!!

I thought she was so beautiful back then.

Actually, they were all pretty girls.  But Irish had an interesting look about her.

I agree with this pyramid.

Where My Girls At was a huge crossover hit and one of the biggest songs of 1999.  That alone puts them above those other groups, in my opinion.

It?s funny to me that, in 1999, they were peers with Destiny?s Child.  Where My Girls At and Bills we?re out at the same time.  But 702 didn?t follow up with strong singles, and DC did.

?You Don?t Know? was their follow-up single and it was such a strong record, but it fail under the surface. Idk why it didn?t stick cause the song HITS.

I liked it.  And Gotta Leave.

But they weren?t strong, crossover type records to follow Where My Girls At.  It?s almost like that song took them by surprise.  They should have let Missy do more uptempos for the album, and worked with some bigger names.

🦚

Total has 7 riaa certified songs.

And yeah the LL and Mase song trump everything the girls in the op ever did.

Kaeli.

; @ Xscape being higher than DC

They were essentially an ATL version of SWV

And 702's "Gotta Leave" would have been a better follow-up to "Where my Girls At"

!!!!!

And none of the groups listed in here make me think of 90s girl groups

Let's see

In one league we have

Tlc
Dc4
Swv
En Vogue
Total
Xscape

Then 702 somewhere at the bottom

Missy and Keybeats (the duo who did a lot of Aaliyah?s final album, like Rock the Boat) did Where My Girls At and Gotta Leave.  :loose2when:
