I went to NYC for a week in Jan for the first time and I was in HEAVEN despite it being cold as shit.

It's literally so much you can do that simply walking around is an adventure in itself.

Made me never want to see Mississippi again

It's honestly not scary at all. Just keep an eye out for the cars, because they do not give a fuck about you and they honk their horns for the hell of it. I honestly just followed the people who looked like they knew what they were doing d.

Just keep an eye out and keep your money hidden cause you could be walking not paying attention one minute and the next minute you're like where tf did my wallet go?

That's how I was in Chicago. I'm just not used to all of that. I said this on here before, but I was at a gas station with my cousin on the Southside of Chicago and I saw this couple and they looked at me and normally when I see people at home whether I know them or not, I speak. So I spoke and they looked at me like: 



My cousin said, "Cuz, you can't do that here!"

Make sure you go to Central Park near 125 at 3AM. It?s quite the sight to see

It?s so odd that people see New York as a foreign intimidating place. Lol.

NYC is a lot but it's not that crazy. Just use Google Maps to get around and don't be like those tourists who stop people for directions. Avoid Times Square at all costs. There are a thousand and one restaurants so it really depends on what you are in the mood to eat. Try to hit up happy hours for drinks because afterwards, the price for a drink could be like $11-15
