i think in the gay world, many friendships can start off that way even if you dont go all the way.
Let's say you meet on an app, and go out on a date or two, mess around and then realize you're better off channeling this energy and chemistry into a genuine friendship, and you aren't necessarily as compatible in terms of a relationship. It seems to be pretty common

But personally, I couldn't imagine being close friends with someone I've been intimate with in the past. It's almost like being close friends with an ex.

yeah one of my best friends and I started out talking

That?s exactly why I don?t disclose. Now we creating a situation where there shouldn?t be any. It?s not hiding or being secretive either. It?s just not current or relevant to what we have going on.
