He?s constantly licking himself

Any advice on how to avoid hairballs?

You can look for "anti hairball" cat food. However, I've personally never witnessed a cat producing hairballs. I think it's more common with long haired cats.

The spray wore off and he?s scratching the couch again

I just realized you have to use the cat deterrent immediately after they scratch

He?s still scared of his toy mouse and balls of yarn but he?s making progress
