I was at the finale in L.A. last night and here are some things that went down. Please do not read if you don?t want to be spoiled:
It?s lip sync for the crown again. Kameron picked Asia and they performed to ?Nasty? by Janet. Asia was doing fine until she tried to do a live butterfly reveal from her chest (yes, you read that right) and it did not work. Some of them were dead and it was a mess. Kameron mopped the floor with her with flips, splits and reveals. It was shocking to watch because Asia is known for her performance ability.
Eureka faced off against Aquaria to Janet?s ?If,? which may be one of the hardest songs to perform because of how Janet sung the verses. Eureka had like 5 reveals in terms of looks that ended up reading ?The Big Girl Wins.? She really did well. Aquaria tripped a couple of times. Ru pulled a double shantay which will probably cause backlash. It was a good battle, but Eureka won in the building.
Final lip sync was a 3-way performance of ?Bang Bang.? Aquaria dressed as a police officer and shot confetti out of toy guns and the crowd went UP! She also slaughtered Nicki?s verse. Woo! I?m assuming she will win, even though production taped crownings for Kameron, Eureka and Aquaria.
Miss Congeniality was awarded to Monet. They announced that due to tampering, the Internet vote could not be counted. VH1 let the girls of S10 choose.
Show opened with all of the S1 girls perched on stage. Really cool moment and they all looked stunning!
