goddess needs to start carving out a new venture

u can't be the hot fresh young rap gal forever.

in another 8-10 years some gal will be knocking on Cardi's door ready to grab the title.

!!! Model, acting etc

She's marketable and white people love her so she can do the Kelly Rowland/Ciara thing for a while.

I'm just happy queen ain't never been a prostitute :stressed:

Are you woman shaming?
Prostitution is the oldest profession in the world.
You don?t know the mileage on Nicki?s vagina nor Cardi?s

6 flop singles in a row. It?s time for her fans to be honest with her.

Time to use that call a friend helpline

Drake got a little life left in him.

Nicki let her insecurities hurt her career. From the beginning she set the groundwork for this day to come.

She?s lettinh anger and jealousy consume her. Negativity never leads to prosperity. A downwards spiral until she repents and bends the knee in front of the mother of streams.

If Nicki really wanted to get her career back, she would embrace being the ?gracious queen? that she claims to be. She?s been anti-women in the rap game her whole career. That shit may not sell well during these #MeToo and #TimesUp days. Her team needs to sit her down and have a talk. Paying people?s student loans is not going to cut it this time.

I don?t get why she?s so insecure. She?s clearly a better rapper than most of the girls out. Why so scared to collab?  :plzstop:
Having steff removed from the playboy carti song. Steff ain?t even a rapper rapper  :plzstop:

yeah

anything besides continuing to scramble for a quick hit

it's OK to not be the hottest gal on the block anymore. i can imagine that it's hard to accept

but it's clearly cardi's time to take the wheel.

if michael had a decline, absolutely no one is exempt
I don't see her stopping anytime soon. I see her going even harder and now is definitely the time to do it. She has too many fans that she'd be disappointing if she took a step back from the music scene. She just needs to release the right material, which unfortunately hasn't happened yet

Opposites Attract.

I agree Nicki needs to link up with the new wave of female rappers except Cardi. Also I think she is beyond a position of chasing hits. This bitch is friends with Beyonce and Jay. I honestly don't understand how people can be surrounded by them and don't step their shit up. I mean Kendrick, Donald, JCOLE, Rihanna and the like all transformed into a certain level of creative space. She's too big and legendary for sloppy roll outs and unnecessary interviews.

Nicki too busy chasing behind irrelevant ass rappers. I mean even Migos are taking their creativity to a different level. Future too. The tour is the only right thing thus far after Chun Li.

It's unconditional, these days you know....

i think the lack of great material comes from the inevitable - being out of touch with what's really hot or what will work once you've reached a certain age.

Look at Kim. She really thought this was mess was hot and would fly  :dead:

And now she's somewhere tryna make "Spicy" happen.

:dead:

Nicki's just not fresh anymore. Cardi's young, energized and ready to go go go, like Nicki was when she first hit the scene.

And in another 8-10 years, Cardi will be sat down by her younger, more hip/cool and in-touch counterpart. It's just a cycle.

One that goddess is not exempt from unfortunately. But I still wanna hear the alber
I know exactly what you mean. And it's true for most artists, male and female. Most of these artists cater to ppl that are in their 20s or younger, so once everybody reaches a certain age, fans and the artists, the lingo and the mottos from the past become just that: from the past.

I'll agree Cardi is more young and carefree/wild than Nicki. She still hasn't proved she has what it takes to usurp her rapping throne and crown. While Nicki is releasing subpar bars that reference the same shit she been talkin bout for years, Cardi's fundamental rapping "skills" still can't match up to Nicki's. She just got some undeniable bops. That's why it's strange to me Nicki hasn't caught onto the fact that we need something we can just nod our heads to. If she gives us a Beez, itty bitty, up all night verse type mess, things will start clicking again

These midtempos and weird, house trap songs shouldn't be the direction. Wack material is what deaded Kim, so I hope she's aware of that.

!!!

I think the disconnect could come from the fact that a lot of artists stop really living that youthful, club hopping lifestyle once they reach a certain age/status. Cardi is still out in the clubs pregnant and all, twerking , acting a fool and getting her life.

Last time I saw Nicki posted in the club it was somewhere in Europe and she was acting bougie and giving unbothered teas as the Shether mess went down.  :dead: Love that gor :woohoo:

If you're not out there living the life of a really young person anymore how can you really connect with them? She's not the same gorl that was fresh out of Southside Jamaica Queens ready for her shot. I just can't see Nicki hitting up clubs and twerkin, bottle poppin and mess. And she doesn't need to - Goddess is well established, RICH, the top selling female rapper of all time, etc.

I guess with Nicki, yeah, she's gotten older but she's also gotten wiser. I think her problem is that she is still trying to be that young, silly rebel from the NYC hood. But she's grown out of that in her day to day, so it doesn't SMACK you across the face like it did in her earlier days. She could become more conscious like J Cole/Jay-Z and show a side of her that we haven't seen. She would really shock the gorls if she switched gears like that

brocka4life

Now is the time for her to transition from ?queen of rap? to an artist who makes her music about something. And learn to become a performer. That?s what the old girls have over her, they all can give stage presence...Kim, Foxy, Salt N Pepa, Queen Latifah, Da Brat, Missy, etc. Nicki should have plotted her return on something different and should not have even put any diss lines to any other female rappers in her songs.

It?s not over for her. She just has to change directions to keep this thing going. The arrogant bitch persona is no longer appealing to the masses.

!!!

If she would've dropped something like Humble or KOD, she'd have my wig peeling. Too much of her music is about her. She needs to take the focus off of her and make a statement about society and incite a change there. The recent interview she did could be her angle, but those ideas need to be translated into music. We need Prostitution feat. Nas, Nicki.

She doesn?t even have to try to become a Lauryn Hill or anything. Just switch it up a little.
