Are you trying to reveal something about Yummy's conception?

Herb.

I'd feel sorry for the baby, that even though it's proven through research that smoking has a harmful effect on unborn children (and these facts have been pushed to the point where its become common knowledge), and I'm sure any doctor with a degree from an accredited university would strongly advise against it, that the mother still prefers her habit in place of the safety of her child.

Well if you'd feel like it's none of your business, what initial feeling would cause you to remind yourself of that? surely we don't look at everything and say "that's none of my business" to ourselves. There's an initial thought or reaction, then we usually remind ourselves after the fact that we are to mind our own affairs.

So what would your initial reaction be?

i would think ..
Look at that dumb ass bitch smoking while pregnant .. SMH

then say

YES can i get a number 1 no pickles add bacon with a sweet tea light ice and a large fryyy...

As long as it wasn't one of my family members bby. idc really.

basically......

1) you dont know the person so it's disrespectful as fuck
2) it's not affecting you or any member of your family so why go through the trouble of basically calling someone an unfit mother and ruining their whole day

its very difficult to break a habit....overeating, undereating, smoking, etc.

its not that she 'prefers' her habit but in her mind she's thinking why go through the stress and withdrawal of quitting.....she's just going to take her chances and hope the baby doesnt turn out retarded

thank you.

So you'd feel that her actions are dumb.

That's what I was looking for "its none of my business" isn't a feeling. It's a statement

the question wasn't addressing what you would do

I asked what would you feel.

There's a difference.

And I don't see the "disrespect" in having a feeling towards something. Its how you choose to act on your feelings that can come off as rude or disrespectful.

novmbrchild

I'd be disgusted tbh, but I would punch on about my day
