No shade, but I always thought it was funny how she tooted herself as this creative artist?, while making generic and/or boring songs.

A big part of that tho is because of these 4 year gaps (now 6yr gap) she takes between albums. I know a song like Right moves was recorded a couple yrs back when the reggae trend was in. Its one of her pitfalls. So by the time she actually releases her shit, it sounds dated or like she's hopping on the bandwagon. She takes way too long between breaks. This album was finished recorded like a year ago.

And the reason I say that is because X kinda tackled a lot of genres, looks and vocal styles on 1 album: hip hop, country, neo soul, rock, latin, etc etc. and made it all work and cohesive. She was on her wave length. I know for sure that Christina didnt listen to Pink and said I want an album just like hers. She probably has never even listened to that album.

Yet recruited all the same writers, producers and even features.
