Nicki Minaj has a problem with how some are reading comments she made in a recent interview with Elle, and she took to Twitter to not only clarify her feelings, but come for the person calling her out.

In her Elle cover story, Minaj unpacks her feelings about embracing her sexuality, and how her personal approach and attitude to infusing it into her work has changed. She tells Elle that Queen, her forthcoming, much-anticipated album, entertains the notion of "it being okay to keep your legs closed," and that she's examined her role in how strippers, Instagram girls and "modern-day prostitutes" view themselves and their worth.

"...in a lot of ways, I don?t know if I?m doing the same thing they?re doing, because I?m selling sex appeal," she explains. "So I can?t look down on these girls. I may not be having sex with people, but I?m still selling sex appeal.?

Her thoughts on the complicated subject resonated on Twitter, but struck a chord with some that Minaj didn't intend. Twitter user @MrJeromeTrammel criticized the rapper's remarks, saying that she "went over to [Elle] to slut shame certain types of women."

Minaj, furious, explained her intentions while stressing that "lyrics, photos & F--KING r all 3 diff things."

Minaj then encouraged her fans to go after @MrJeromeTrammel, with some going so far as to post his personal information on social media. He responded by indicating he's considering legal action, and stressed that it's "WRONG" for a celebrity to be "inciting violence" for sharing his opinion.

Exactly why I couldnt take her sermon on young girls self worth and their bodies seriously.
