QuoteBrandy, on the other hand, is scheduled to release her seventh album ? featuring further contributions from Darhyl ?DJ? Camper, Kelly Rowland, Fantasia, and Jazmine Sullivan ? later this year via Primary Wave / eOne Music.

The still-untitled project follows 2012?s ?Two Eleven,? which topped the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and spawned two singles in the shape of ?Wildest Dreams? and the Chris Brown-featuring ?Put it Down.?

im guessing that piece of the article is an assumption based on previous rumors and that pic she took with kelly, Harvey Mason Jr. and them

we shall see, but this time i wouldn't mind another complimentary voice here and there on the project that she can further feed off
of. Could be really nice

Primary Wave looks legit!

I hope that Bran pulls a yonce' and jayz and drops this album on us without any warning

:tittehbeendry:

Yea that's stupid

everyone will drag her :udontlookok:
Bran needs at least one single
She can?t just drop something
Yes she can. its 2018  :dead:  her streaming numbers aint gonna be any different releasing single after single and waiting 5 more months to drop the album. No damn Ma'am those days are done and OVER and i personally dont trust her enough yet to drop a single, because God knows when the album would come. Im sorry but no

95% R&B artist are now niche/boutique artists . Why chase success any more? chase acclaim and gratified fans tbh!
i don?t think people would lash her for low #?s and I?m not saying she should chase success.
But people look for any reason to talk bad about Brandy as it is. I can already see  the hmph! Thinkin she doin sum! posts if she was to surprise release.

Brandy problem is picking the wrong singles. Two eleven era could?ve been bigger if Do You Know was the 2nd single. She wanted Wildest because it was her mood then and look what happened. Brandy lets her personal interfer with business..

I?m sure she didn?t have much say in those singles. Especially considering she was on video begging fans to call the label to make it a single.
I personally feel like RCA went with Brandy after she fought for Wildest and after it underperformed compared to Put it Down the label said NAH! And Bran wanted the fans to fight for Do You know because it charted without even being released. Brandy and her team dropped the ball on that one..

!!!!!!!!!!!!

RCA wasn?t even thinkin about Wildest... they wanted So Sick and she didn?t feel it would?ve been received well on radio, Brandy was in love with Wildest and she fought for it

Im sorry but y'all sound tf stupid. Its not about chasing success but u wanna give ur project it's best chances of succeeding.  People don't release music for shits and giggles.  This is her livelihood so no she doesn't need to just randomly be releasing shit. Talking about it wont do well anyway :dead:
imagine if everyone had this defeated ass attitude. Music isn't about who is selling the most at this point anymore, only u relics on here like to deem that the end all be all :dead:
also this

I?m sure we all know she won?t be seeing NSN numbers again but Jesus...some fckn visibility would be nice!

Not just throwing out an album and saying ?there! :bvy:? like most of these other R&B acts
ccfcfccc ur both right IMO. there has to be a balance there, but i definitely dont want a single released and then we sit around for months like before. Absolutely not

Having a plan in place shouldn't be too much to ask for, and it seems like they got something going. Also, i think she's been documenting a LOT of the process and way way more than ever before. Everyone involved has been tagging film guys, specific creative directors and photographers. These studio snapshots aint just for IG IMO

Hamada Mania?

:udontlookok:
Yea i dont think its an official press release, because Brans name always circulates the big blogs, pitchfork and all that, but the facts they gathered seem pretty accurate i believe.

they wanted Wish your love away around August, according to TC, but she wasn't here for that idea either, which made her fight for WD even harder

TC is LYING..no one wanted WYLA as a single much less on the album z :plzstop:

Purple Moon

imagine a video for so sick. with multiple shots being shown at the same time, one for each layer of harmony she does and in the middle her lipping to the main vocal.
Must be a purple moon, feel like one of those nights...

Yeah that sounds like baloney the singles the label likes are at the begining of the album

Typically first 6 songs

But if a single hits they want consumers to enjoy it right away
