Gorgeous. I really believe everyone should take a step outside the country at least once in their lives.
It's amazing how people literally just live and die in the same place, never stepping foot outside of it to physically know of anywhere else.

omg yes!!  It really does change your perspective on life.  I haven't left the country yet but I moved across the country on a whim so I know I can do it when I get the time.

I've thought about doing this. Just travel and see what I run into, who I meet, etc. Seems so exciting

I actually know a girl who travels just because, she randomly decided to live life day to day and documents her travels on IG and on a site for black travelers http://travelnoire.com/

My friends and I backpacked a couple of years ago for the summer after I graduated college and that was long enough, almost too long. We packed so much not realizing how difficult it would be to carry that stuff on your back for an extended period of time, feared for our lives because some strange guys followed us around in Morocco, and hostiles aren't always the best places to stay so we opted for a few hotels in place. We all got cranky many times and it's not as inexpensive as you would think. Great experience but in hindsight it probably would have been better to just do it for a couple of weeks instead.

It's so fuckin amazing. And once you start you never wanna stop. I just hate flying
