I think Cissy was a bit pissed the "I'm Your Baby Tonight" album didn't slay as hard as "RN18" with that New Jack Swing sound

That's what I got from that. I'm Your Baby Tonight underperformed in comparison to her first two albums.

Imagine being insecure after selling diamond and setting the standard for female artists.

Wow.  I?m always amazed by the legends being vulnerable or insecure about their success.  It makes them seem human.  Like when Mariah said she wanted the respect the streets gave Mary, even though she was ten times the success Mary was.
