i feel like she's taking her music for granted. she still has an amazing voice and sounds better than she has in the past. i feel like she should be taking advantage of this gift. i think before anything else, she's a great singer. that's why we love her tbh. i don't know anyone who stans for brandy the actress over brandy the musician, the artist... i mean, im sure there's somebody, but the vast majority are here for her music. i know its been hard in recent years for her to push units, but that's where she needs to get creative and explore new ways to put her music out there?like how bey released her last album, how rihanna plans to release her new album... i'd love for her to just pop up and say, next week i'm releasing the album guys. and do a full promo run with performances etc... with a ton of video treatments... but i don't think we'll ever get that. nnn

but u know @ the end of the day her label isn't going to take a risk that big. even GODanna is pushing her release date back until she secures some type of hit. 'fas really rolled the dice on that self titled alber....the risk worked in her favor, but she's 'fas so I don't even know if it could be categorized as risk

but you know rihanna is about to release her album for free on samsung devices like how jay did magna carta so that she can go platinum in a week. samsung already bought the album.

Brandy herself said things were gonna be different. Two falsely announced 4 years breaks in a row (8 fckn years in total) has us hangin by a thin thread. Especially with these meager ass "eras"...

She gave us false hopes with #Summer2014, which turned out to be literally nothing. And now she uploaded a vidya declaring an EP would drop Sep/Oct, and hasn't even uttered a quantum of info bout the project since and it's November by now.

Bran lacks focus when it comes to music.
She becomes scattered, goes wherever the wind blows her, gives in to other people, gets gassed up and excited with whoever is smooth-talking her in the moment.

She hasn't released a stellar album since Afrodisiac, no shade.

I think she needs to go back to her original formula of sticking to ONE producer and really developing a CHEMISTRY and putting out a COHESIVE album.

Not some random collection of  songs by different producers and writers.

She has a gift. It's so frustrating to see her just toss it aside.
