I'm unsure of what the deal is with the artists themselves...I'd be slow to really dig in on them because the industry in itself can be very political . You never know why who's not showing up to what.

I just don?t think the BET awards should be THE Standard for black awards. If we?re gonna go up for a black mess MAYBE it should be the damn NAACP awards.

Now the soul train awards are cool too. A nice balance between ratchet and classy/boring.

The Grammys suck. And the Oscars are by far my least fav ew.

The BET isnt what it used to be. The building used to be filled 80% with TALENTED artist and mostly respected.

Now with these Lil Pump, XXXtention cord, Uzi Bert and the other hoes plus the niggas jumping up and down like Monkeys its a LOT.... I can see why Bey doesn't sit through the mess.

The BET Awards is honestly more entertaining than all of those other shows put together.

It's the only one I can sit through from start to finish.
