I get frustrated with people who are trying to communicate with me but know no other language than Spanish.

I really feel bad for thinking this at times but it's like, you're in an English speaking country. Take a bit of time to learn some fucking English.

I was considering doing a bilingual mess.

It'd definitely comes in handy. Especially here in NYC.

It's not like learning a more random language like Russian or something.

Knowing English/Spanish is seen as a pretty powerful asset in many places.

It will definitely come in handy and on top of that it is a beautiful language. It?s definitely one of my goals to continue learning Spanish.

I learned as I started visiting Miami multiple times a year that I have to learn Spanish

HALF the restaurants I went to, that werent chain restaurants, MOST of the waiters spoke spanish

Its easy until you have special request "Sauce on the side please" "uhhh, what? no speak englas" DSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Like, I honestly felt like I was a minority in a latin country or something

It was kind of refreshing though. We're so conformable in America until we experience something new or different

We give celebrities or anyone "famous" on social media too much of our damn energy and power. You're wishing some stranger the best, posting pics of their kids instead of the ones in your family, trying to become more like them, giving them your energy and time when that could all be focused on you & your loved ones instead. It's scary sometimes.
