She has been quietly filming several clips for the visual project ? basically a collection of music videos ? and is planning to shoot another at the ruins of the Colosseum in Rome.

And while 2016?s Lemonade premiered on US telly network HBO, this time she is hoping to raise the bar by going with Netflix.

A source close to the singer said: ?Beyonce has been hard at work on her next solo album and it is shaping up well.

?She wants it to be even more ground-breaking and visually impressive than Lemonade, which is why she is scouting out locations which will really wow people.

?Her team are now in negotiations with Netflix to premiere the project, which would introduce it to a massive audience.

?They offered a seven-figure sum for Lemonade but contractual obligations with HBO and Tidal meant it didn?t happen.

?But they are willing to pay through the roof this time because Beyonce still has massive pulling power.?

Beyonce wrapped up the 18-date European leg of her and Jay-Z?s On The Run II tour in Nice, France, on Tuesday, ahead of their US dates which begin next week. They celebrated after at Nice hotspot La Petite Maison, where they dined with Bey?s mum Tina and U2 frontman Bono.

And in a handy twist of fate, Sir Elton John was also in the restaurant ? after he confirmed Bizarre?s exclusive that he and Beyonce would be writing and record a song together for next year?s live-action remake of The Lion King.

He said in February: ?They need to have a new end credits song.

?There will be an end, closing song, and we?ve been speaking to Beyonce?s people, and hopefully TIM RICE and I and her can cook up something.?

With her US dates not kicking off until next Wednesday, they could have a few days to make something roar-some.
