Familiar with her music?
I know her song, "Brave" cause of Bran...
But if theres anything in particular I should listen to please recommend.

I have a meeting with her tomorrow for a TV show she is co-creating for Apple TV.
They are hiring writers and are interested in me. I want to be able to genuinely connect with her on her music and act like I know what i'm talking about  :dead:

Thank you!

I wanna mention Bran but not in a way that would offend her... :kii:

she was just in Jesus Christ Superstar with John Legend live on NBC as Mary Magdalene
the soundtrack is on streaming

Firstly, congrats. What an amazing opportunity. Secondly, her album the "Blessed Unrest" is solid. I know Brandy's a fan of that record as well. Not only is she an exceptional singer, but a wonderful musician/composer and lyricist.

I just watched over the weekend and John SANG  :'(

He caught some push back from a lot musical theatre heads because of significantly lowering the key (the role of Jesus is usually played by a tenor), but I thought his take was solid. His voice is so rich and full.  I love his phrasing and vibrato. And he did well with the acting too.

How dont u know this girl?  She's amazing.  She was nominated for a Tony for her music to the waitress play.  She used to be mine was a popular song from that

Thank you all!!!

I will mention Bran...I think she'll appreciate it.
I'm so late on music lol

I had to Google her when my agent mentioned her name... :uhh: :dead:
Thank God I did. I would look foolish.

But yeah should be a dope show. She will be doing the musical score for it, as well as producing I believe. They have an Indian American character in it, which is why they want to meet with me as a writer.

I will check all of your suggestions out tonight! Thank you!!!

My favorite of all time is this:

Her interpretation of it

QuoteDuring the VH1 track-by-track interview, Sara has an interesting opinion on relationships and how as individuals we need to ?nature ourselves by being independent?.

It?s not about shutting people out, but finding who you are at your core. Realising that we come into this earth alone, and we leave alone. We have to be okay with that concept

Fuckin AMAZING. The arrangement and lyrics >>>
