Many people lie about who they are. Claim to be things they're not, claim ancestry that they do not have......

But I think the difference here is that those people usually do these things out of ignorance. Maybe family members told them they were something that they really aren't. And they run with it. But Rachel's parents clearly are in tune with who they are, based off of how they outed their own daughter So it seems as if Rachel literally took it upon herself to become a black womuh.

That is what's alarming. She has no black ancestors....not even erroneous oral family history/stories to explain why she's like this. This is why I am pissed that she ducked and dodged all the questions they asked her. What the fuck was the point of coming to the show?

And the look of death she gave Loni when she joked about her baby coming out black. I couldn't help but to feel some type of way. Almost like, it's OK for YOU to be black, but the gorls get the look of death for saying your bvy will share the same "race"?

I think its cringe worthy when I see white people trying to twerk, "be black", and mess.

Being in America I can understand why a lot of blacks gravitate more toward being "black" than they do being "African". Since for a lot of us, "black" has been our culture. Not necessarily Africa (although my family gladly celebrated Kwanzaa every year  ). Many of us are too far removed from the continent (geographically) to identify with it. If that makes sense.

But that doesn't mean we should welcome Ghetto Becky with open arms. Cuz at the end of the day, Becky walks into an interview as a white womuh. Not twerking like Shaquanna. She'll always choose her white privilege if it ever was a choice between that and you. Trust

She's delusional. But it was nice to see her finally acknowledge that she was biologically BORN white but chooses to identify as black.
As far is that is concerned that's fine by me, who am I to judge especially when you're doing so many great things for the black community.


But don't lie and don't be deceitful because I can't relate to that.
