Rihanna Talks Body Positivity & Why People Relate to Her: 'Maybe It's Because I'm Thicc Now'

Rihanna became the first black woman to grace the cover of British Vogue's coveted September Issue, and the interview had the songstress expressing what she does best--being herself and loving it.

She is always one to defend her body and love her curves, which she guesses is partially why women love her so much. ?I don?t know, maybe it?s because I?m ?thicc? now. I don?t know,? she said.

The makeup mogul also revealed that while she's getting back to the gym recently, it's not possible to have a perfect body due to the compromise: "You want to have a butt, then you have a gut."

?I?m not built like a Victoria?s Secret girl, and I still feel very beautiful and confident in my lingerie,? she continued.
