Didn?t Kim get slutted out by the entire junior mafia ?  :omgwatshappening:

Didn?t Beyonce pour Blue out of a beaker?

You know how rumors work, stop.
:rudone: Kim rapped about being a proud slut...

right her sexual liberation & provocation was seen as pushing the envelope
similar to how Madonna did it in the 80's, Lil Kim did that for female rap

hhhhhh Are they DEAF, too?

With ?Hard Core?, Kim became the first high-profile female rapper to flip the script on objectification in the rap industry ? 20 years later, it sounds more vital than ever

An article about black feminism without Jans? Throw it away.

If you wanna call her a slut, skeeze w/e but her raunchy lyrics and sexually charged image flipped the script for black women in music, they were finally in charge of their sexuality and how they could show it and Lil Kim was at the forefront at that movement :dead:
Madonna is cited for doing that for 80's and 90's pop no one discredits her or reduces her for it
I know Lil Kim isn't in her prime anymore and isn't what she used to be, but whilst she was ON she wasn't a "slut" for shits and giggles

🦚

Kim was def the new wave feminist.

Before Kim you had to throw on some baggy jeans and a sweater to demand the respect.

Hardcore will always be the most iconic era in female rap.
Hear 'em swarmin', right? (Zz) 🐝 🐝  is known to bite (Zz, zz)

Keyword is "overlooked".

We're discussing impact, not intent.

Thanks for posting.
lol at highlighting ONE word out of an article, that same article discusses her impact and intent, and what about the other two articles? :omf:

I was just having that conversation with one of my friends yesterday.

She?s one of the most influential in female rap but her legacy gets overlooked because of recent decisions
